Summers coming!!! Insert polar opposite Game of Thrones image here 😂😂😂 This Sunday I have a new program starting, so if you have been looking into Ketosis or high fat diets for awhile or are having trouble understanding how to go about it, have a look at the link below to tell you more about the Program and what is included. Have an amazing week!
One of the byproducts of losing a lot of weight is lose skin.
At my heaviest I was 175kg or 385lbs, and this weight put a lot of strain on my skin causing scaring or stretch marks. This is one of the reasons why I knew I had to weight train and fill out the lose skin as much as possible. Sure I might have taken it a bit far by cutting down and competing in bodybuilding, but I wanted to put a big exclamation point at the end of my weight loss, and a big f**k you to all of the medical complications I had with being overweight.
As you can see in some of these photos of me competing, I had to fold my "skin apron" (such an attractive name) and duct tape it under my posing trunks to hide it as best as I could. I was told by the head judge that the lose skin didn't help my placing, and maybe I should look at surgery in the future... i placed 3rd in New Zealand at the competition, and for me it wasn't about the competition placing. It was about completing the journey, and being around for my kids... i felt I had already won.
I think like most of us here losing a considerable amount of weight, we have thought about surgery and even costed it out. And who knows it could be on the cards one day... but I am happy with me in my own skin, even if it is a bit scared and loose in areas.
